Introduction to Thor 10K Ways

Thor 10K Ways is an online slot developed by Reel Play. The game features a dynamic 6-reel layout and uses the 10K Ways mechanics, allowing for up to 10,000 possible ways to win on every spin.

Reel and Row Structure

This slot is played on 6 reels. Reels 1 and 6 each have 4 rows, while reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 each contain 5 rows when including the top reel. This unique setup helps create the high number of possible winning combinations.

Setting Your Bet

Before playing, you can choose your total bet amount. The minimum bet available is £0.20 per spin, and the maximum reaches £5.00. All payouts are calculated against your chosen total bet.

Ways to Win

Thor 10K Ways uses a "ways" system instead of traditional paylines. Wins are awarded for matching symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel. Only the highest win per combination is paid, but wins from different combinations in the same spin are added together.

Game Features Explained

Wild Symbol

  • The THOR symbol acts as a wild, substituting for all other symbols except the HAMMER.
  • THOR only appears on the top reel.

Scatter Symbol and HAMMER Features

  • The HAMMER symbol is a scatter that can appear on all six reels during the base game and Near Miss Bonus, but not on the top reel. During Bonus Respins, HAMMER may appear on all reels, including the top reel.

Bonus Respins Feature

  • Triggered when 6 or more HAMMER symbols appear in a single spin.
  • Awarded 3 respins to start.
  • All HAMMER symbols are locked in place, while the remaining positions spin.
  • If additional HAMMER symbols land, they are also locked and the respin counter resets to 3.
  • The feature continues until no respins remain or all reel positions are filled with HAMMER symbols.
  • Each HAMMER awards a prize or special bonus at the end of the feature.
  • Bonus prizes include:
    • 10K Bonus Prize: 10,000 x total bet (awarded once per feature)
    • Grand Bonus Prize: 2,000 x total bet (awarded once per feature)
    • Major Bonus Prize: 250 x total bet (awarded once per feature)
    • Minor Bonus Prize: 50 x total bet (may be awarded more than once per feature)
    • Mini Bonus Prize: 10 x total bet (may be awarded more than once per feature)
    • Non-bonus prizes: 1 to 100 x total bet
  • Bonus prizes are not progressive.
  • This feature plays at the bet amount that triggered it.

Near Miss Bonus

  • If exactly 5 HAMMER symbols appear (after any exploding symbols resolve), the Near Miss Bonus is triggered.
  • Each of these 5 HAMMER symbols awards the prize or bonus displayed on them.
  • Mini and Minor bonus prizes can be awarded multiple times during the Near Miss Bonus.
  • 10K, Grand, and Major bonus prizes may only be awarded once per Near Miss Bonus.
  • This feature also plays at the bet that triggered it.

Additional Game Mechanics

  • Payouts are awarded according to the paytable, and all prizes displayed over HAMMER symbols are already multiplied by your total bet.
  • Only positions containing the winning symbol contribute to that symbol's win calculation.
  • Winning symbols (except HAMMER) explode, making room for new symbols to drop down, potentially creating additional wins.
  • The top reel adds an extra symbol to the reel underneath it (reels 2 to 5).
  • Game rules, including expected payback and RTP, are shown in-game.
  • If a malfunction occurs, all pays and plays are void.

Responsible Play and Game Limits

Any combination of wins in a single game round is limited, and may not exceed a predetermined maximum. It may not always be possible to reach this limit in every bet configuration.

The expected payback is a theoretical return calculated over a large number of spins by many players, and cannot be influenced by individual strategy.
