Payline wins occur on the number of selected paylines, according to the information in the paytable and game rules. When winning on multiple paylines in a single game round, all winnings are added together. Free Spin features are played with the same bet and same number of selected lines as the game round that triggered the feature – unless otherwise stated. Symbol wins pay for any winning payline combination without any gaps. Only the highest win is paid per active win line. Athena Ascending is a 5-reel video slot with 20 fixed paylines.
Wild symbols substitute for all symbols (except Scatter) and appear only on reels 2, 3, and 4. Each individual Wild symbol provides a random multiplier of either X1, X2, X3, or X4. Multipliers accumulate when more than one Wild is present on a winning payline, for a maximum multiplier of X64.
3 or more Scatter symbols award 5 Free Spins. During the feature, Wild symbols behave as described, and become sticky until their multiplier reaches X4. The multiplier increases +1 on each Wild between each spin. Additional free spins cannot be won; Scatter symbols are not present. Once all spins have been consumed, the game continues via re-spins until no Wild symbols remain.
