DuelReels™
When a VS symbol lands, it expands into a wild DuelReel if it is part of or creates a winning combination. Expanded DuelReels cover their entire reel. A duel takes place on each DuelReel, with two multipliers applied: one for the Phoenix and one for the Water Dragon. The multiplier of the winning duelist is applied to winning combinations that include the DuelReel.
Fully expanded DuelReels substitute for all symbols in the paytable. Possible multiplier values on DuelReels are: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 75x, 100x, or 200x. Multiple DuelReels in the same win combination have their multipliers added before being applied. Only one VS symbol can land on a reel at a time.
Resurrection Spins
If the Phoenix loses a duel on at least one DuelReel, a Resurrection Spin re-spin is awarded. In this re-spin, at least one VS symbol is guaranteed to land. The process repeats until there are no losing Phoenixes.
Bonus Gamble
Upon entering a bonus game, there is a choice to proceed directly or gamble. If gambling, five Phoenix Eggs appear. Up to three Eggs can be selected, each containing 2 to 10 free spins or a Bonus Upgrade in the FIRE AND WATER bonus. A Bonus Upgrade triggers the RISE OF THE PHOENIX bonus with 10 free spins. One gamble is allowed per bonus and after a Bonus Upgrade.
Fire and Water Bonus Game
Activated with 10 free spins by landing three FS scatter symbols during the base game. This mode has an increased chance of landing more VS symbols. Landing 2 or 3 FS symbols during the bonus awards +2 or +4 free spins respectively.
Rise of the Phoenix Bonus Game
Activated with 10 free spins by landing four FS scatter symbols during the base game. This mode has the features of the FIRE AND WATER bonus, and includes enhanced Resurrection Spin re-spins. The number of VS symbols that land during the re-spin matches the number of DuelReels with losing Phoenixes. Landing 2 or 3 FS symbols awards +2 or +4 free spins respectively.

Ways to Win
A win occurs if matching symbols align along one of 14 predefined lines on adjacent reels from left to right, starting with the leftmost reel. Only the highest win per line is paid.
